What Is Alamo Plant?

Alamo Powerplant. The Alamo Powerplant was constructed between 1982 and 1985 as part of the South State Water Project (SWP). The facility is located on the East Branch of the SWP, approximately 1.5 miles southeast of the SWP’s bifurcation into the West and East Branches.
