Can Multiple Family Members Use Audible?
Family Library Sharing allows you to share your Amazon and Audible books with the other members of your Amazon Household. As an Audible member, this means you will be able to share any books in your library with the other member of your Amazon Household.
How many family members can use Audible?
How can I share my Audible books with my family? You can share Audible books with members of your Amazon Household (up to two adults and four children at the same address) through the Family Library feature.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the Content tab on the Manage Your Content and Devices page.
- Select Audiobooks.
- Click on Show Family Library.
- Select the audiobooks from your library.
- You can pick from these options: Add to Library: This will add audiobooks to your shared library.

How do I add someone to my Audible account?
Click Preferences. Click on Households and Family Library to open the hidden message, then click Learn more about Households. On the new page, select Add Adult to add a new profile. If the other adult is not present, enter the name and email address of the adult you’d like to invite and click Continue.
To share an Audible book with a friend, just open your Audible app and push the “My Library” button at the bottom of the screen. Then find the Audible audiobook that you want to share and tap the three dots to the right of the title. One of the options that pops up will be “Send this Book.”
A shared audiobook may not appear in your library if: The other member of your Household has stopped sharing their library. The other member of your Household has stopped sharing that specific Audiobook. The other member of your Household has returned that specific Audiobook.
